Rest of France & Monaco, your client’s next stop?
France is famous for its wealth of culture, for having some of the best cuisines in the world, and for its small, picturesque villages in the charming countryside.
Aix-en-Provence is a town in southern France best known for being the birthplace of Post-Impressionist Paul Cézanne. Nearby Sainte-Victoire mountain looms over the town, which features a walking trail that connects his former studio, Atelier Cézanne, to his home, Jas de Bouffan. The town also features several terrace cafes lining the Cours Mirabeau.
Nice has a history of attracting famed artists like Henri Matisse and Marc Chagall, whose works are displayed at Musée Matisse and Musée Marc Chagall, respectively. Vieux Nice, a maze-like collection of medieval streets, leads to the Cours Saleya market, famed for flowers, fish and fresh produce. The Promenade des Anglais offers bay-side views.
Canne, southwest of Nice, is a resort town on the French Riviera and home to the renowned Cannes Film Festival. It also features upmarket boutiques and jewellery shops, enormous hotels, sandy beaches and the Vieux Port, home to some of the largest and most expensive yachts in the country.
Monaco, tucked into the French coastline, is an independent country famed for its nightlife, upscale casinos, and yacht-lined docks and marinas.
Note that Paris is worthy of its own destination page here.
