Paris, your client’s next stop?
Paris, the capital and largest city in France, is home to over 12 million people, the iconic Eiffel Tower and some of the most famous artworks in the world.
The Louvre is the world’s largest art museum, home to the Mona Lisa, numerous Greek, Roman and Egyptian antiquities and paintings from Raphael and Michelangelo. Across the River Seine is Musée d’Orsay, which houses the largest collection of Impressionist and post-Impressionist works featuring renowned artworks by Monet, Manet, Degas, Renoir, Cézanne, Gauguin, and Van Gogh, while great contemporary art exhibitions can be seen at Palais de Tokyo and the Pompidou which also has a fantastic modern art collection.
Visitors to Paris should learn how to order a few things in French, un petit café, a little coffee, is a good place to start. The Champs-Élysées, known for luxury shops and theatres, is a wonderful place to take a stroll to the famous Arc de Triomphe, and two cathedrals to see are the Notre Dame, for its spectacular French Gothic architecture, and the Sacre Coeur which, sitting elevated over Paris offers a great view of the city.
